To live a higher life is not about living in luxuries. People think jumping from one guy to another, changing clothes or shirts every minute, taking hard drugs and doing things to gain admiration of others means living a higher life. Then you had it all wrong.
Living a higher life is about living a life that is pleasing to God. It’s about living a distinct life, a life that will transform someone from the state in which he/she was to a different aspect of life that he/she would be ok with. It’s about leading the person to our Saviour Jesus Christ; who is the creator and possessor of all things.
When you are in Christ Jesus, you will live a higher life which is full of the glory, mercies and love of God. Look at the life of Daniel in the bible where he was even thrown into the lions’ den but because he was living a higher life in Christ, the lions couldn’t do anything to him. Do you know why?
Daniel has an excellent spirit in him, which made him live a higher life in Christ to the extent that the king declared that the God of Daniel is the living God.
