CHRIST IS WITH YOU

THEME: CHRIST IS WITH YOU

John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

The Word in the bible is referring to Christ. Christ was in the beginning (before all time) with God and the Word was God himself.

The Word was present before all things were created. There is nothing that was made that did not come through him. All things in existence came through him which means he knew you and he is always with you.

There is Life in him and the life was the Light of men. The light shines in everyone that believes in him/ confesses him as his Lord and personal Saviour.

When the light comes into your life all things will become new because he will take away every darkness in you. Remember light and darkness don’t have anything in common that is why where ever there is light darkness does not comprehend.

The light is dwelling in you as a believer because the light is the Word (Christ) himself which is with you. The light will give life to those who believe in him.

He said in 2 Corinthians 5:17 that behold old things have passed away and all things have become new. You are a new creation the very moment you confess him and accepted him to be your Lord and Saviour. He will continue to shine in you because He is the light.

4 THINGS THE LIGHT WILL DO FOR YOU

1.    The light will always direct your path

2.    The light will give you a new life.

3.    The light will always shine in you.

4.    The light will always make you speak the truth.

PRAYER

1.    Make my face shine among men in Jesus name.

2.    May the light of God always direct my path.

3.    May the light of God remove everything in me that is not glorifying his name. Amen
