Atsu Paul DesiaÉ–enyo, popularly known by his stage name Efo Paul Atsu, is a Ghanaian worship minister from the Volta Region of Ghana. He was born on 20th March, 1993. He is the founder of EPAM Ministry (Efo Paul Atsu Music Ministry) and is passionately committed to spreading the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ through spirit-filled Ewe worship songs to the world and future generations.

Efo Paul Atsu is the son of the late Ernest John Banaman Wlui from Mafi-Aklamador and Monica Homadi from Sogakope Bakpo. He is the second male child of his parents and the last-born of his mother.

Early Life and Education

He began his basic education at Mafi Devime under the care of his late grandmother, Awusi Atitsusi, from Mafi-Tumforkope/Devime. It was during this period that his musical journey began.

Musical Journey

Efo Paul Atsu started his music ministry at the Evangelist Temple (Bryant Mission) of Ghana, Devime Branch, where he joined the church Brass Band at the age of 12 as a horn player.

After completing his basic education, he moved to Accra, where he further developed his musical skills by serving in various churches. During this time, he transitioned from brass instruments to the keyboard. His passion, spirituality, and dedication gave him the opportunity to minister alongside some notable musicians, significantly shaping his musical experience.

He later returned to the Volta Region to continue his education at Mepe St. Kizito Senior High Technical School, where he gained further knowledge and exposure in music.

Divine Redirection, Spiritual Covering and Growth

After secondary school, Efo Paul Atsu planned to join the Ghana Armed Forces as a musician. However, on several occasions, three men of God unknown to each other prophesied that he was not destined for the military but rather for the work of God.

Though he initially ignored these prophetic messages, he later attempted to enlist but was disqualified on medical grounds due to an alleged hernia condition despite earlier tests showing otherwise. This experience led him back to seek spiritual guidance, where he was instructed to submit himself under a true servant of God for direction.

He settled in Mepe, fellowshipped with the Church of Pentecost, and later met Prophet S. A. Elisha, Founder of Jesus Is Lord Church of Nations (Sogakope). From their very first meeting, Efo Paul Atsu connected deeply with him and eventually submitted himself under his mentorship, guidance, and counseling regarding his music ministry.
